Hope you have been keeping well during these tough times. Just wanted to tell you about some of the measures we are taking here at the hostel prior to your arrival.
All guests must book prior to arrival. We won't be there to check you in. We will be leaving an envelope inside the front door with your name on it and that will contain your key and a note explaining where everything is.
We will charge your card on the day of arrival and will also leave a receipt in the envelope. We prefer card payment however If you have to pay by cash let us know and we will leave an envelope in your room for you to leave the correct amount and drop it off in the key drop off box on the day you arrive. If you wish to pay using a different card from the time of booking just let us know.
We have had to close communal areas unfortunately so there will be no access to the kitchen or sitting room unless you have exclusive use of the hostel. We have put a fridge, kettle with cups and some tea/coffee etc in all rooms but if you need any cutlery or dishes etc put in your room prior to arrival just let us know.
Each room has handwashing facilities as standard and we have also installed hand sanitising stations at reception and other locations in the hostel.
We will be frequently cleaning public areas of the hostel but we will not be doing a daily clean of your room unless requested. If you want the room to be cleaned or need new bedding/towels please contact us. We can reassure you that the rooms are deeply cleaned between stays and will leave 72 hours between stays where possible and are using all the necessary PPE.
If a guest presents themselves with symptoms of COVID-19 or is asymptomatic but declares the need to self-isolate, they and anyone else in the room will be advised to check out and return home to self-isolate according to current government guidance. If the guest has acute symptoms, has breathing difficulties or their life is at potential risk they should seek medical help immediately
On day of departure we ask guests to strip their beds and leave it in the room. Check out time is 10am and keys can be dropped off at the key drop off box at reception.

If you could check if any of your contact details have changed from the time of booking just in case we need to contact you. We will need your address and a mobile number that you will be using during your stay.
